You're stronger than you think; braver than you believe...

I moved here for big changes in my life. Career. Lifestyle. Everything. Rebuild. From the depths of my insides to the outer reaches of my aura.

There's been a few times where I've come up short. Its a setback, emotionally. I just have to remember that I'm stronger than I think and braver than I've believed of myself. And I will persevere. Persistence pays, so they say. So I will persist in other parts of my life and that, as has been in the past, will cover the areas of my life that have been lacking.

What have been the lacking parts? I ain't gonna tell. Let me just say that I deserve better. Yup, that's a true statement. And I will seek better. Always. Haven't you ever woken up, sat straight up in bed, and have that thought in your head? "I deserve better." "I'm going to be better, today."

Or

"I'm going to be great, today"
"I'm going to be absolutely sizzling, today"

I woke up with, "I'm going to be okay", today. And I will be.

I'm reading through scripts, jotting down which scene to use as examples/samples of storyboarding. I need to work on action scenes and there will definitely be examples of those types of scenes.

I'm also diving into two different books:

Future Noir: The Making of Blade Runner
Los Angele's Bunker Hill: Pulp Fiction's Mean Streets and Film Noir's Ground Zero!

One as a physical book, the other is in my Kindle.

This past Saturday (Feb 29), I was the Production Assistant for a horror short film shoot. I learned so much more about this industry and am so grateful for the opportunity. I carefully watched the DP and his assistants set up and looked through their gear. Black Magic camera, various color gels, filters and of course, lenses. Crazy. I was inhaling the entire experience. To the point, I lost my voice.
